FalleN claims ZOTAC Cup Masters MVP award
MIBR captain Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo is the winner of the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award of the ZOTAC Cup Masters by HLTV.org and betway.
The Brazilian veteran beat off competition from Marcelo "coldzera" David and Jake "Stewie2K" Yip for his remarkable throughout the tournament, having been one of MIBR's best players on six out of the seven maps that the team played (one more than his compatriot and two more than the North American).
It is also worth mentioning that Stewie2K, the highest-rated player of the event, had incredibly high peaks but also had some troughs, finishing two maps with ratings lower or equal to 1.05.

Besides having the highest KDD of the tournament (+61), FalleN was the hardest player to kill (0.45 deaths per round), and boasted the highest KAST (82.1%) and success rate in opening duels (86.4%). He also features in the top 5 in several other stats leaderboards, including percentage of support rounds (21.8%), damage difference per round (+27.5), and AWP kills per round (0.46).
This is the fourth MVP medal of FalleN's career, the first since BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen 2017. Previously, he had been named the best player at DreamHack Austin 2016 and at ESL One Cologne 2017.
